Company Portal App - Syncing

This walkthrough will be using screenshots to provide a step-by-step account on how to run and synchronize your company portal application.

 

  1. Opening Company Portal App

To open the Company Portal app, click on the start menu then you can either use the search bar to search for “Company Portal” or you can use the scrolling menu to navigate to the “C” category to click on “Company Portal”.

After the app is opened, the “Settings” menu needs to be navigated to. In order to arrive at the “Settings” page, click on the cog wheel at the bottom left corner of the window - it will automatically populate the “Settings” page in the body of the window for you.

While in the settings menu, click the “Sync” button to get the latest updates available, as well as any programs you may be missing if those programs are automatically installed through the company portal.

After the synchronization process has been completed, it will give you a confirmation with the date and time as to when it was successful and the “Sync” button will be clickable again.

 

NOTE: Just because the Sync says its done, does not mean all programs and their updates will immediately be ready for use - some updates take longer than others and some programs (if reinstalled) need to do their own initialization before use.
