Register your computer

Registering your computer will allow us to ensure it is compliant with all Ameresco security policies and will allow you to access additional resources and software including the Microsoft Office suite. We will also back up your Documents/Pictures/Desktop folders to protect your data and to ease the transition to an Ameresco managed computer.

From the Start Menu or Search box type “work or school” and open the below item.
Click on “Connect”
Enter your email address and continue with the sign in process.
You will now need to setup Windows Hello. This will provide a more secure and easier way to login to this computer. Face, Fingerprint, or PIN may be used depending upon your devices abilities. The PIN is device specific and won’t work anywhere else for your Ameresco account.
In this example we will use the PIN.
Your account has now been added.
Confirm your local computer password (not your Ameresco password). You will now be able to login to your computer using either your existing computer password or your newly created PIN (or Face/Fingerprint).
You should now see your Ameresco account listed. You can close out of this window.
Applications, security, and configuration policies will begin downloading and installing in the background. This can take some time depending on connection speed. You can continue using the machine during this time.
Applications that will be installed soon after completing the above steps are:
Microsoft 365 Apps for Windows 10 (Outlook, OneDrive, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
Microsoft Teams - (Chat/Telephone/Files) Will show up after a restart
Company Portal (Used for downloading software)
Google Chrome (Web Browser)
Printer Installer Client (Used for installing printers)
Egnyte (File system)
Exclaimer Cloud Signature Software (Standardized Outlook Signatures)
Other notable changes:
